Amazing Animated Gifs by David Pope

This is an amazing find indeed. These animated GIFs are so sophisticated, so artistic, it almost makes me forget the animated gifs of the days of old. David Pope does an amazing job with these and I'd love to know what tools he's using to create these beautiful specimens.
